Myst veterans should feel at home in Firmament right away: Abandoned ice landscapes and steampunk aesthetics characterize the art design. Firmament: Mystical puzzles – also for PSVR?
While we are currently still assuming a release in the second half of the year, there are already rumors about a possible delay to 2023. The release of the Playstation VR 2 – and thus also the VR version of Firmament – could still be a while off.
So far, only a few titles have been officially confirmed for Sony’s upcoming VR headset, including the action-adventure Horizon Call of the Mountain. A PSVR 2 mode is expected to be added once the headset is released. The PS5 version of the mystical puzzle adventure is planned for this year. Myst studio Cyan Worlds has confirmed in a Kickstarter update that the puzzle game is no longer only planned for PS4, but also for PlayStation 5 and Sony’s upcoming VR headset. Firmament is on the wish list of many adventure fans and is now also on the list of titles for Playstation VR 2.
